Rich L. Kincl, D.Min., Ph.D.

Pastor

Dr. Rich Kincl

Pastor Kincl grew up the dependent son of a career Air Force officer and has lived in many states---born in California, graduated high school in Nebraska.  He gave his life to Christ as a freshman at the University of Arkansas, where he developed the passion and practice for soul winning.

After earning a BS in political science and secondary education teaching certification, Dr. Kincl earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX.  He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO and a Ph.D. in higher education at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.  Before becoming the Senior Pastor at Immanuel in 1996, Dr. Kincl served churches in Arkansas and Texas. Nearly 3,000 persons have joined Immanuel since he became pastor, many by profession of faith. He knows them all by name and personally contacts every person who visits the church.  He preaches expository messages with application for everyday living.

Pastor Kincl and his wife, Kay, have two children and one grandson. He loves the beach and enjoys running, home improvement projects, antiques, and spending time with his family.

 

Robbie Jenkins

Minister of Youth & Outreach

Robbie Jenkins

Robbie joined the staff of Immanuel Baptist Church in March of 2011.  He has a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Robbie is married to his high school sweetheart, Kim and they have two children - Lindsey and Bryce.  His hobbies include spending time with his family, watching sports, riding his motorcycle and hanging out with teenagers.  Robbie is an avid sports fan!  He comes to us from Louisiana so he is a LSU Tiger through and through.  He and Kim love spending time with our youth, many Saturdays they have a house full watching FSU or LSU and Kim is always in the kitchen cooking something for the crowd. Robbie has a passion for youth, he desires for each one to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior. 

 

Lori Fitzpatrick

Minister of Senior Adults & Families

Lori Fitzpatrick

Lori joined Immanuel Baptist Church in July 2001.  In March 2008, she accepted the position of Minister of Senior Adults and Families.  Lori has been married to Michael Fitzpatrick for sixteen years and has two children – Madison and Lexi.  Her hobbies include camping, playing volleyball, and spending time with her family and friends.   Lori is a local native who was raised in Tallahassee since the age of 5, graduating from North Florida Christian and later Florida State University with a degree in Social Work.  Lori’s passion is serving others; her desire is that she might be a light for those who do not know the love of Jesus Christ, and using this example to spread the good news of His redeeming grace and mercy.

 

Sue Gee

Minister of Preschool and Children

Sue has been a member of Immanuel Baptist Church since 2002.  She joined the staff as Minister of Preschoolers & Children in 2008.  She is married to Brian Gee and they have two daughters – Courtney and Madison.  Her hobbies are camping, boating and spending time with friends and family.  Sue is a Tallahassee native and a graduate of FSU with a BS in Elementary Education.  Sue loves working with the children at Immanuel and it is her prayer that they all come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

 

Luke Whitmore

Minister of College Students

Luke Whitmore

Luke was born in Hialeah, FL.  He was saved and baptized at the age of 9 in his home church North Hialeah Baptist.  Luke joined the staff of Immanuel Baptist Church in July 2009.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Florida State University. He was called to ministry at the age of 19 while in college.  Luke is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Luke is married to Heather since 2004, they met at church! They have a beautiful girl, Haley, who was born in April of 2010. His hobbies include spending time with his family, fishing, sports, and working on classic cars. Luke is very passionate about reaching Tallahassee for Jesus.  God wants students and others to have a loving and saving relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. This is the driving force behind the IBC College Ministry.
